I was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Growing up in the East St. Louis area gave me a deep desire to attain success while also helping others. After graduating high school in Cahokia, IL, I attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where I majored in architecture. After moving to Kansas City, MO, I decided to get involved in education. A member of the National Honor Society, I graduated summa cum laude at the University of Missouri - Kansas City in Elementary Education. Shortly after, I began teaching 5th grade at University Academy in Kansas City, MO. I moved back to the St. Louis area in 2012 and have since been working in the Jennings School District. I am fortunate enough to have an occupation that is my true passion. There is nothing more important in my life than ensuring that precious, future generations of citizens are equipped with the tools they need to not only be successful leaders, but to also manage global issues and aid in making life easier for others.
